- 90 g butter
- 130 g suar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 2 egg (s)
- a little vanilla pod (s), scraped out
- a little lemon peel, grated
- 130 g flour
- 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
- little milk
- 500 g plums
- 3 tablespoon almond flakes

- Butter a 24 cm springform pan and dust with flour.
- Mix the softened butter with the sugar until frothy, stir in the salt and eggs.
- Scrape out the pulp of the vanilla pod and add it too. Then rub in some lemon zest.
- Mix flour and baking powder and sieve to it. If the whole thing is too dry, add some milk if necessary.
- Distribute in the mold.
- Halve the plums and, depending on their size, quarter them on top of the cake. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
- Bake in the oven at 180 ° for 35-40 minutes.
- A bit of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream goes well with the cake, but it can also be eaten solo because it is very juicy.
