Ingredients

  • 90 g butter
  • 130 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 2 egg (s)
  • a little vanilla pod (s), scraped out
  • a little lemon peel, grated
  • 130 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • little milk
  • 500 g plums
  • 3 tablespoon almond flakes

Instructions

  1. Butter a 24 cm springform pan and dust with flour.
  2. Mix the softened butter with the sugar until frothy, stir in the salt and eggs.
  3. Scrape out the pulp of the vanilla pod and add it too. Then rub in some lemon zest.
  4. Mix flour and baking powder and sieve to it. If the whole thing is too dry, add some milk if necessary.
  5. Distribute in the mold.
  6. Halve the plums and, depending on their size, quarter them on top of the cake. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
  7. Bake in the oven at 180 ° for 35-40 minutes.
  8. A bit of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream goes well with the cake, but it can also be eaten solo because it is very juicy.
