Ingredients

  • 5 bell pepper (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 800 g pork, turkey or beef
  • 16 tortilla (s) (2 prepackaged)
  • 1 spice mix (taco seasoning mix)
  • Crème fraîche, guacamole, Texicana sauce and / or schnippel cheese
  • Oil (olive oil), for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, the onion into rings and the paprika into bite-sized strips.
  2. Put the olive oil in a pan, fry the meat, first add the onions, then the paprika. Fry for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Dissolve the taco seasoning mix in a little water, pour over. Fry for another 10 minutes over medium heat. (The mix is very spicy, so maybe only try one sachet the first time).
  4. In the meantime, arrange the creme fraiche, guacamole, Texicana salsa and / or cheese snippets on the table.
  5. Place the hot pan in the middle of the table. Warm up the tortillas in the oven or microwave as described on the packaging.
  6. First coat / fill the warm tortillas with creme fraiche, guacamole, Texicana salsa and / or cheese snippets, then roll up the meat, done.
  7. Mexican beer (Corona or Sol) goes very well with this.
