Fake Samsa with Chicken and Pumpkin

Yes, yes, fake, but no less tasty from that. Fragrant samsa in my way.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast – 500 g
  • Pumpkin – 250 g
  • Onions – 600 g
  • Lard – 100 g
  • Parsley – 1 bunch
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Ground coriander
  • Zira
  • Ready puff pastry – 1 kg
  • Egg (for greasing) – 1 pc.

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes with a knife.
  2. Cut the onion into small cubes.
  3. Cut the pumpkin (I had it frozen since winter) into small cubes.
  4. Chop the parsley.
  5. Lard, I have homemade pickles, but you can also use fresh, cut into cubes.
  6. We place all the ingredients in a bowl. Salt, pepper, add coriander, and cumin.
  7. Mix well until smooth.
  8. I had the dough already rolled out, rolled into a roll. We straighten. Cut into squares. I made small squares, it turned out samsa for one bite.
  9. Place the filling on each square.
  10. First, we connect the corners.
  11. Then we fasten the sides.
  12. We spread samsa on baking paper, seam down. Lubricate with a beaten egg.
  13. We bake samsa with chicken at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes (be guided by your oven).
