Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 1 cube yeast, fresh
  • 275 ml water
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil

For the filling:

  • 1 can tomato (s), cut into pieces or strained
  • some oregano, basil, thyme
  • 150 g salami
  • 150 g ham
  • 1 glass mushrooms, poured off
  • 1 packet cheese, grated, approx. 200 g, your choice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Knead all the dough ingredients into a smooth dough. There is no need to make a pre-dough!
  2. Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out thinly and circularly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Tip: Put a little more flour on the baking paper so that you can fold up the calzone better later.
  4. Put the tomatoes in a bowl and season with a little oregano, basil, thyme, salt and pepper. If you like, you can also add onion and garlic powder.
  5. Now distribute the sauce on the halves of the circular dough in equal parts. There should be two tablespoons left over to coat the outside of the calzone.
  6. Now top with salami, ham, mushrooms and finally with cheese. Again, some cheese should be left over for the outside.
  7. Carefully close the calzone with the help of the baking paper and smooth the edges so that no juice comes out. For the eye, spread a little tomato on top and sprinkle a little cheese on it.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 ° C for 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown.
