Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ cup oatmeal, fine, a little more
  • 1 cup milk (3.5% or .5% fat)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or brown sugar, honey or maple syrup
  • possibly cinnamon powder
  • possibly nuts, chopped
  • possibly desiccated coconut
  • possibly cocoa powder
  • possibly fruit your choice and season

Instructions

  1. The cup used for measuring has a capacity of 150 ml.
  2. Put the oat flakes and milk together in a microwave container, loosely put a lid on or leave the microwave opening open. Set the microwave to 800 watts and 1 minute, then stir the porridge and place it in the microwave again for 1 minute, then stir again and let it cool for 1 - 2 minutes. Sweeten with 1 teaspoon sugar or honey or maple syrup.
  3. Variants:
  4. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts (e.g. almonds).
  6. Mix in the coconut strips or rasps (to taste).
  7. Mix in 1 teaspoon cocoa powder.
  8. Add fruit, depending on taste and season, e.g. cut a banana into small pieces or cut a small apple into small cubes or add berries.
  9. You can actually put everything you like in the muesli in the porridge, also combine different variations, e.g. I like to use cinnamon and almonds as a combination. There are no limits to your imagination!
  10. Tip: The vessel should be large and high enough so that the porridge rises in the microwave. The times in the microwave are only guidelines and may vary depending on the microwave.
