Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ tuber fennel
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 small banana (s)
  • 0.5 ½ grapefruit (s), pink
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pinch horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled mustard, medium hot
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled turmeric
  • 1 pinch (s) clove powder
  • 1 pinch (s) paprika powder, hot
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the fennel and peppers, cut into large pieces and put in a blender. Add the peeled banana and grapefruit in pieces. Likewise add the other ingredients and then fill up to the 1 liter mark with cold water. Let the mixer run for 2 minutes on the highest setting.
  2. Sufficient as a smoothie for 2-4 people in between.
  3. Tastes extremely interesting, so far none of my guests has even remotely guessed the ingredients.

  5. Can also be served as a cold soup. For raw food lovers, it is definitely a main meal for 1-2 people. As a cold starter / cold soup, I would serve it in a small bowl for 4-6 people. Then it also tastes great if you refine it with a dollop of crème fraîche per serving and garnish with greens or flowers, e.g. coriander green, beaver mint, mint leaf, edible flowers such as daisies, nasturtiums, borage, etc.
