Festive Roll with Curd Cheese

Spectacular, tasty and easy-to-prepare festive roll with curd cheese filling. The most delicate snack, it is impossible to resist, the hand itself reaches to try!

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Eggs – 6 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 6 tbsp
  • Cream (fat content 20%) – 3 tbsp
  • Flour – 6 tbsp
  • Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped spinach – 2-3 tbsp
  • Ground paprika – 2 tbsp
  • Grated hard cheese – 3 tbsp

For filling:

  • Curd cheese – 400 g
  • Dry garlic – 1 teaspoon
  • For homemade curd cheese:
  • Kefir – 500 ml
  • Sour cream – 400 ml
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon

Directions

  1. The products are the most common. Spinach can be replaced with parsley and dill.
  2. We divide the eggs into whites and yolks. We send the egg whites to the mixer, add a pinch of salt and beat until stable peaks. Divide the yolks by two into three different cups.
  3. Add a pinch of salt to each container with yolks, 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of cream, 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of flour and 1/3 of baking powder. It remains only to send grated cheese to the first cup, chopped spinach to the second, and ground paprika to the third.
  4. While we were mixing and preparing the yolk mass, the whites beat perfectly.
  5. Visually divide the proteins into three parts and fold them into each part of the dough with folding movements.
  6. You will get three types of dough: yellow, green and red.
  7. On a prepared baking sheet (I have a baking sheet measuring 27×35 cm, covered with ordinary baking paper, greased with butter and sprinkled with flour), alternating colors, spread the airy dough in strips.
  8. We bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Remove the finished layer from the sheet and let it cool on a wire rack.
  9. In the meantime, I’ll tell you how I made curd cheese (you can buy it). The night before, I mixed kefir (3.2%) and sour cream (200 ml 10% and 200 ml 20%), slightly added salt. I threw it back for a couple of hours in a colander covered with non-woven fabric (or gauze). At night, I put my structure in the refrigerator and in the morning I received a delicious, delicate curd cheese. The serum was 600 ml.
  10. For our recipe, add dry garlic to the curd cheese.
  11. Turn the tricolor cake over (remove the paper), cover with a foil and turn over the cake on the film again so that its underside is the outer part of the roll.
  12. Distribute the curd cheese filling over the cooled crust and gently fold the roll with a film.
  13. We wrap a roll with curd cheese in a film and put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour. This appetizer for the festive table can be prepared in advance.
  14. Cut the festive curd cheese roll before serving. Nice and tasty! And if you add a little red fish, it will turn out quite like New Year’s!
