Festive Snack “Mushroom stumps”

An incredibly delicious snack for a festive table! The “Mushroom hemp” snack from a baguette with mushrooms, cheese and bell peppers is eaten very first! Delicious and simple!

Ingredients

  • Fresh baguette – 1 pc.
  • Champignon mushrooms – 250 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 50-100 g
  • Vegetable oil – 3-4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Greens (for decoration) – to taste

Directions

  1. First, prepare the filling. To do this, chop onions, bell peppers and fresh champignons with a knife.
  2. In a well-heated skillet, fry vegetables and mushrooms in vegetable oil. Don’t forget the salt. Grate the cheese.
  3. Cut the baguette across into small pieces, about 2-2.5 cm thick. Gently crush the crumb in the middle (see video).
  4. After the filling is cooked and cooled down a little, put the mushrooms and vegetables in the prepared bread “hemp”. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
  5. Put the almost ready-made appetizer on a baking sheet and bake pieces of baguette with mushrooms, vegetables and cheese in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
  6. A very tasty, juicy and fragrant festive snack “Mushroom hemp” is ready! If you wish, you can decorate it with fresh herbs.
