Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 500 g onion (s)
  • 500 g apples, cored, peeled
  • 1 large can (s) tomato (s), mashed and small can with it
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • honey
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), fresh, cleaned and chopped or dried, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Chilli powder
  • oil
  • possibly crème fraîche or yoghurt

Instructions

  1. Chop the garlic and onions and fry them in a little oil with the chilli. Pour 500 ml of water, add the stock cube and the apples. Let it simmer until the apples are soft.
  2. Puree everything, add the tomatoes and puree again. Season with honey, chilli powder, salt and pepper, add liquid if necessary (water with stock cube or apple and / or tomato juice). Then carefully season again, the soup should taste hot, sweet and fruity.
  3. At the table, crème fraîche or yoghurt may be enough, if someone`s soup is too spicy, they can use them to soften it.
