Ingredients

  • 4 half chickens, fresh and ready to cook
  • 300 g ajvar
  • 4 tablespoon oil (peanut oil)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 tablespoon spice mix (chili garlic)

Instructions

  1. Put the ajvar in a large bowl. Add the peanut oil and the spices and stir everything into a creamy marinade. Brush the ready-to-cook chickens with this paste, inside and out.
  2. Place the treated chicken halves skin up in an oiled baking dish. Roast in the open oven at 200 degrees for approx. 60 minutes. If the chickens brown too much, put aluminum foil on top. Serve crispy and a little dark.
