Ingredients

  • 8 fig (s), fresh and ripe
  • 3 tablespoon sugar, a little more if you like
  • 5 tablespoon brandy, rum or Cointreau
  • 200 g crème fraîche

Instructions

  1. Wash the figs, cut off the stalk and cut deeply into the fruit at this point with a sharp knife. Place the figs side by side in a flat ovenproof dish. Sprinkle evenly with the sugar. Make sure that the sugar also gets inside the fruit. Drizzle the alcohol evenly over the fruit.
  2. Simmer in the oven at 220 ° C for about 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool down slowly. Drain the juice and whisk with the crème fraîche. Pour over the fruit, cover with cling film and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Arrange in dessert glasses the next day, garnish and serve chilled.
