Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough with sauce, from the cooling shelf
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200 g Edam cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Pizza seasoning
  • 1 small Can / s pineapple
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • some flour for the work surface

Instructions

  1. You can fill your Cheese Balls as you like. Everything that tastes good on a pizza also tastes good here. I always make them with tuna or ham and pineapple. You can of course also make them with just cheese.
  2. You put the finished pizza dough on a work surface dusted with flour and pull it a little longer so that it becomes a little thinner. Then you cut the dough in the middle lengthways in two parts, spread some tomato sauce on both parts, put a thick layer of grated Edam cheese in the middle, put the ham and pineapple on top and some more Edam cheese. Then place the bottom side on the ingredients and roll everything tightly into a roll. Then cut into pieces approx. 4 - 5 cm thick with a sharp knife and place on edge on a baking sheet.
  3. Mix the olive oil with a little salt, pepper and pizza seasoning and then brush the cheese balls with a brush.
  4. Then bake the cheese balls in the preheated oven on the highest setting for 7-10 minutes. When the top batter is lightly brown, your cheese balls are ready.
