Ingredients

  • 700 ml cream
  • 300 ml milk
  • 125 g suar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 350 g chocolate (dark chocolate), chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Heat the cream, milk and sugar, stirring constantly (do not boil) until the sugar has completely dissolved. Then take the whole thing off the stove.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks and fold in about half of the cream mixture. Now fold the egg milk back into the rest of the cream mixture and heat everything again (do not boil) until the whole thing has turned into a cream. Now gradually stir in the melted chocolate.
  3. Let cool and freeze.
