Fish Baked with Bell Peppers and Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • White fish (fillets or steaks) – 500 g
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon – 0.5 pcs.
  • Fresh basil – 6-7 leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

How to cook fish baked with bell pepper:

Directions

  1. Finely chop the onion.
  2. Chop the garlic finely.
  3. We clean the bell pepper from seeds and partitions, cut into squares.
  4. Fill the tomato with boiling water for 1 minute, then put it in cold water. Remove the peel from it and cut it into cubes.
  5. In a frying pan in olive oil, lightly fry the onion and garlic (5 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  6. Add pepper and fry for another 5 minutes.
  7. Put tomato in a frying pan and squeeze out the juice of half a lemon. Salt and pepper to taste. We mix.
  8. Chop the basil not very finely.
  9. We send the basil to the pan with vegetables and simmer everything together for 5-6 minutes.
  10. Turn on the oven 180 degrees. Wash the fish well, dry it with paper towels, then put it in a baking dish.
  11. Spread the vegetable sauce over the fish. We bake the fish in the oven for about 30 minutes.
