Fish Baked with Lemon (Sleeve)

by Editorial Staff

The fish baked in the sleeve is easy to cook with a minimum of effort. Rub the fish with a mixture of olive oil, lemon zest and juice, and ground black pepper. Then bake in the sleeve. The fish is juicy, tender, with an interesting lemon flavor. Even a novice cook can cook such a dish!

Cook: 55 minutes

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Hake – 500 g (1 pc.)
  • Lemon – 120 g (1 pc.)
  • Ground black pepper – 0.3 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 30 ml (2 tablespoons)

Directions

  1. We wash the lemon and remove the zest with a fine grater. I got about 1 tbsp. Then we squeeze out 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice.
  2. Combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Remove the fins and entrails from the hake, wash the carcass. Rub the fish inside and out with a mixture of oil and lemon.
  5. We put the fish in a baking sleeve, tie the edges of the sleeve.
  6. We bake hake with lemon in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes (be guided by your oven).
We take out the baked hake with lemon from the oven and carefully cut the sleeve so as not to burn yourself with the steam.
  7. Cut the fish baked in the sleeve into portioned pieces and put on a plate, pouring over the juice released during cooking. Baked hake goes well with any side dish, such as rice.

Enjoy your meal!
