For a family dinner, an excellent fish dish is suitable – a fish casserole, the recipe of which does not require inaccessible ingredients, and even inexperienced cooks can do it. The delicious fish casserole is a universal recipe since you can use any fish for it (but, preferably, without bones). In addition, the fish casserole is a recipe for a hearty dish that is prepared not only with fish but also with potatoes.

Ingredients
Potatoes – 250 g
Fish fillet – 200 g
Onions – 50-100 g
Vegetable oil – 70 g
Sour cream – 70 g
Tomato paste – 30 g
Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
Ground red pepper – 1 pinch
Salt – 0.75 teaspoon
Sugar – 1 teaspoon
Bread crumbs – 5-6 tbsp
Greens – 3-4 branches
Directions
Cut the fish fillet into pieces. Peel the onion and cut it into rings. Peel, wash, and cut the potatoes.
Heat half the oil in a skillet. Fry the fish fillets in well-heated vegetable oil until golden brown: first 8 minutes over medium heat on one side, and then another 5 minutes on the other.
Heat up half of the remaining oil. Add the onion and fry it, stirring occasionally, over medium heat (7 minutes).
Mix sour cream with tomato paste, season with black and red pepper, salt, sugar.
Turn on the oven. Grease a baking dish with oil. Put half of the potatoes on the bottom of the mold, pour over the sauce (half of the whole sauce). Then put the fish and onions. Close with the rest of the potatoes. Pour the sauce over again.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Cover the tin with foil. Bake in a well-heated oven (40 minutes at 190 degrees). Remove the foil 30 minutes after the start of baking.
Delicious fish casserole with potatoes is ready. Sprinkle the cooked casserole with parsley, dill, or green onions.
