Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillet (s) your choice
  • 250 ml cream
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 handful herbs, mixed your choice, e.g., dill, parsley, chives
  • some oil or butter for the pan
  • salt and pepper
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the flour and stir until it smells slightly nutty. Add the cream and vegetable stock and stir until a creamy consistency is achieved.
  2. Add herbs (fresh or frozen) and season with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  3. Brush a baking dish with oil or butter, add the washed fish fillets, sprinkled with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper. Then pour the herb sauce over it and cook for approx. 30 - 40 minutes at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat) in the oven on the middle rack.
  4. A green salad, boiled potatoes or rice go well with this.
