Fish Meatballs in the Oven

Healthy and very appetizing fish meatballs in the oven at home are surprisingly tender and literally melt in your mouth. Such a dish is a must-have in the diet.

Ingredients

  • Fish fillet – 500 grams
  • Garlic – 1-3 Cloves
  • Cheese – 50 Grams
  • Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Breadcrumbs – 100 Grams
  • Greens – 1 Pinch
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Pepper – 1 Pinch
  • Flour – 2-3 Art. spoons
  • Sour cream – 200 Grams

Directions

  1. You can use absolutely any spices to taste in the recipe for cooking fish balls in the oven, as well as fresh or dried herbs. For a piquant dish, you can add a little hot pepper, for example.
  2.  Fillets can be either fresh or frozen. It needs to be sent to a blender or minced to turn into homogeneous minced meat.
  3. Then add the rest of the ingredients, including salt and spices. Beat again.
  4. Minced meat will turn out dryish. Put it in a bowl and drive in the eggs. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  5. From the minced meat obtained, form small balls of approximately the same size. If desired, this simple recipe for fish balls in the oven can be added a little boiled rice and vegetables to taste.
  6. Dip each ball in flour. Next, there are two options for how to make fish balls in the oven. They can be pre-fried in a pan or sent directly to a baking dish.
  7. Dilute sour cream with a little water or broth. Salt a little and add a pinch of fresh herbs to taste. Pour the meatballs with the resulting sauce and send them to the preheated oven. Bake until tender at medium heat for about 30 minutes.
