I cooked pollock, but you can cook any fish on a vegetable pillow with beans. Very tasty fish with a vegetable side dish. You can use green beans instead of beans.

Ingredients

  • Pollock – 750 g
  • Green beans – 250-300 g
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Tomato – 1 large
  • Seasoning for fish
  • Lemon
  • Flour for breading
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt
  • Dry aromatic herbs
  • Parsley and dill – 2 sprigs each
  • Lettuce leaves – 3-4 pcs.

Directions

  1. Defrost pollock, peel, trim fins, and tail. Wash fish well and dry.
  2. Then cut the fish into large pieces, which are also cut in half along the ridge. Take out the ridge to get the fillet. Sprinkle the fish with lemon juice, salt, and season. Leave the fish for 1 hour in a cool place.
  3. Breaded the fish in flour and fry in hot oil on both sides.
  4. Put the fish on a baking sheet and put it in a hot (180 degrees) oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Boil the beans in salted boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Throw in a colander.
  6. Cut the onion into small cubes. Cut the tomato into larger cubes. Pepper seeds and cut into thin strips.
  7. Saute the onions and peppers in butter.
  8. Add beans and tomatoes. Simmer for 7-10 minutes together. Salt to taste, season with herbs. Add chopped herbs.
  9. Put the stewed vegetables on the lettuce leaves.
  10. Put pieces of fish on top. Serve hot.
