Fish Pate Sandwiches

Very simple and hearty sandwiches with fish (sprat) pate are perfect for breakfast and a festive table. For sandwiches, you can use ready-made sprat pate or make it yourself from sprat and processed cheese.

Ingredients

  • Sprats – 1 can
  • Processed cheese – 1 pc. (90-100 g)
  • Bread (rye, dark) – 300 g
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Greens (green onions, etc.) – for decoration

Directions

  1. We prepare products for sandwiches with sprat pate.
  2. Place the sprats in a bowl.
  3. Grind the sprats with a fork so that the mass becomes homogeneous.
  4. Grind the processed cheese on a fine grater and add it to the fish.
  5. Stir until smooth.
  6. Fry slices of bread in butter (on one side).
  7. We spread the sprat paste on the prepared bread, on the unroasted side, distributing the mass over the entire surface. We decorate sandwiches with sprat pate with herbs.
    Fish pate sandwiches are ready.
