Instructions

  1. Mash the banana with a fork. Then add the egg, egg white powder and oatmeal and mix roughly. Then add the milk in parts until the desired consistency is achieved.
  2. With more milk, the dough becomes more fluid, which makes wonderful pancakes; with less milk, the dough remains thicker and thus makes better pancakes. Mix everything well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Heat a pan with a little fat, for example coconut oil, on the stove and then add the batter in portions. The pan must not be too hot, otherwise the pancakes will darken before they are done. Turn and bake until golden brown on both sides.
  4. The recipe is designed for 4 - 5 pancakes.
  5. Serve with maple syrup, jam or fresh fruit.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
