For these burgers, a filling of meat and vegetables is prepared and served between two halves of Italian flat bread. Those with a slow cooker (slow cooker) will appreciate these burgers.

Ingredients
Beef – 600 g
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
Champignon mushrooms (sliced) – 1 1/2 cups
Onions (finely chopped) – 1/2 cup
Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
Tomatoes (canned without skin, finely chopped) – 400 g
Red wine vinegar – 2 tbsp
Zucchini yellow (cut with a crescent moon) – 1 pc.
Bulgarian pepper (cut into strips) – 1 glass
Italian flat bread, like focaccia (cut in half horizontally) – 1 pc. (22 cm)
Pickled artichokes (drained and cut in half) – 1 can (170 g)
Hard cheese, like Asiago (chopped on a grater) – 1/3 cup
How to make burgers:
Directions
If there is fat on the meat, then it must be removed. If the piece of beef is large for a slow cooker, then it must be cut into 2-3 pieces. Sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs and set aside.
Put mushrooms, onions, and garlic in a slow-cooker bowl put the meat. In a separate bowl, mix the tomatoes together with the juice and vinegar, pour the contents of the slow cooker with this tomato paste.
Close the slow cooker and cook the meat on minimum power 7-9 hours or maximum 3-4 hours. Then add the zucchini and cook for another 30 minutes at maximum power.
Remove the meat from the slow cooker, transfer it to a plank and cut into small pieces across the fibers. Place the meat on flat bread.
Add artichokes to a slow cooker with vegetables, mix, and place the bread, on top of the meat. Pour the slow cooker sauce over the burgers and sprinkle with chopped cheese, cover the burgers with the second half of the bread and cut into portions.
