Instructions

  1. Dust a 34 × 24 cm baking pan with flour and spread 2 tablespoons of olive oil on the bottom.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Here you can take 4-8 toes, depending on your taste. You can also use any grated cheese you like. A spicy cheddar cheese tastes particularly good in this flatbread.
  3. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Put the yeast in a bowl and mix with some of the lukewarm water. Then place this in the center of the well and stir gently into the flour with your finger. Add the salt, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, cheese, garlic and water and knead everything together briefly. The dough is a bit sticky, please do not add more flour. Then put it in the mold so that it is evenly distributed in it. Then cover them and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. It should have increased in volume significantly.
  4. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Sprinkle the dough with herbs as desired and then bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes. It should be golden in color, remove it and let it cool in the mold for about 5 minutes. Then remove from the tin and let cool on a wire rack.
  5. The bread tastes warm as well as cooled.
