Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced beef
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 3 egg (s), (hard-boiled)
  • 3 tablespoon clarified butter
  • 2 garlic clove (s), (or garlic paste)
  • 1 roll, (stale)
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 4 tablespoon chives, cut into rolls
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Fat, culinesse for greasing the mold

Instructions

  1. Soak the rolls in water and squeeze them out. Peel and finely dice onions and carrots. Fry in clarified butter with the garlic and bay leaf. Remove the bay leaf again.
  2. Knead the onions and carrots with the rest of the ingredients - except for the boiled eggs - to form a smooth dough. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Put half of the dough in a loaf pan that has been greased and lined with breadcrumbs. Peel the eggs, press them lightly into the batter and cover with the remaining minced meat. Press down a little and smooth it out.
  3. Now put the roast in the oven, which has been preheated to 160 ° C, on the middle rack and cook for about 1 hour, depending on the oven. In between, use a wooden stick to see how far the roast is done.
