Ingredients

  • 4 tomato (s), diced
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 1 small onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped
  • 8 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices farmer`s bread (s) or ciabatta

Instructions

  1. Wash tomatoes and cut into small cubes, as small as you like them. Put in a bowl. Fry the bacon in the pan and add to the tomatoes, finely chop the onions and garlic and add. Add the chives and basil, as well as the olive oil. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake the bread in the oven until crispy, about 5 minutes at 200 ° C, remove and top with the tomato mixture. Simply enjoy.
  3. It tastes best on farmhouse bread - that`s what our little one likes best!
