  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ milk
  • 4 rolls, stale, from the day before
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook time: 20 minutes
  2. Total time: 40 minutes
  3. Cut the rolls into cubes and toast them with the butter until golden. Mix the flour with the baking powder and mix with the eggs, milk and salt to form a smooth dough. Fold in the toasted bread cubes,
  4. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil, season with salt.
  5. With a spoon, which is always immersed in hot water, cut off the dumplings and add them to the boiling water.
  6. The dumplings should steep for about 20 minutes.
