  • 500 g puff pastry
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

  1. First roll out the puff pastry to the dimensions approx. 60 x 40 cm. Now spread the melted butter on the puff pastry and sprinkle generously with the sugar / cinnamon mixture - if you like it sweeter, just adjust the amount of sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Now roll up the puff pastry lengthways and cut it into a trapezoid shape - narrow side approx. 2 cm, wide side approx. 5 cm.
  3. As a last step, place the long side on the table (or already on the baking sheet) and press a round wooden handle into the trapezoids from above until small roses form on the left and right of the bun.
  4. Then brush these with the egg yolk and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  5. The rolls are good when they are baked golden brown.
