Ingredients
- 1 bunch mint, fresh
- 1 piece (s) ginger (about the size a walnut)
- n.a. lemon juice or
- Lemon peel, untreated, grated
- some honey
- water, boiling

- Wash the sprigs of mint well and twist the entire bunch against each other in your hand as if you were wringing out a towel. It is best to put in a jug that has a sieve spout. Cut the ginger unpeeled into thin slices and also add to the pot. If you like, you can add a little lemon juice or zest to taste.
- Pour boiling water over the whole thing and let it sit on the warmer for about 10 minutes. Sweetened with honey, this is the perfect tea for cold days.
