Ingredients

  • 1 bunch mint, fresh
  • 1 piece (s) ginger (about the size a walnut)
  • n.a. lemon juice or
  • Lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • some honey
  • water, boiling

Instructions

  1. Wash the sprigs of mint well and twist the entire bunch against each other in your hand as if you were wringing out a towel. It is best to put in a jug that has a sieve spout. Cut the ginger unpeeled into thin slices and also add to the pot. If you like, you can add a little lemon juice or zest to taste.
  2. Pour boiling water over the whole thing and let it sit on the warmer for about 10 minutes. Sweetened with honey, this is the perfect tea for cold days.
