Fried Apple Sandwiches

Apple croutons are a great breakfast option!

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • White bread – 2 pieces
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Milk – 50-70 ml
  • Nutmeg – to taste
  • Apple – 0.5-1 pcs.
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Powdered sugar – to taste

How to make apple sandwiches:

Directions

  1. Wash the apple, cut into 4 parts, remove the seeds. Then chop finely.
  2. Heat half of the butter in a frying pan. Fry the apples over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until soft. Add sugar and cinnamon, stir, fry until sugar dissolves (2 minutes).
  3. Mix eggs, milk, and nutmeg.
  4. Soak slices of bread in the mixture. They should be completely saturated. My bread has absorbed all the milk and egg mixture.
  5. Heat the other half of the butter. Put the bread and fry it until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  6. Turn over and fry for 5-7 minutes on the other side.
  7. Put the fried apples on the bread. Sprinkle icing sugar on the apple sandwiches.
