Fried Cauliflower with Green Beans and Mushrooms

by Editorial Staff

Fried cauliflower with green beans and mushrooms is a very simple and quick dish to prepare. All components are successfully combined, the dish turns out to be not only tasty but also healthy.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower (fresh or frozen) – 100 g
  • Green beans (fresh or frozen) – 100 g
  • Champignons – 100 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – a pinch (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – a pinch (to taste, optional)

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. I have frozen cauliflower and green beans, we do not defrost them first. If you are using fresh ones, then disassemble the cabbage into small inflorescences, and cut off the tails of the beans, and cut it into 3-4 parts.
  2. Clean the champignons from dirt, rinse or wipe with a damp cloth, refresh the slices on the legs. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices. Peel the garlic, chop with a knife or pass through a press.
  3. Put the cabbage inflorescences in a dry preheated frying pan and, stirring, fry them over high heat until light brown, 3-4 minutes. If the cabbage is frozen, then cover the pan with a lid and let the cabbage defrost in the pan right away (this will take about 3-4 minutes), and then fry until golden brown.
  4. Add mushrooms and green beans to sautéed cabbage. Stir.
  5. Season the contents of the pan with salt, or a pinch of ground pepper if desired. Pour in vegetable oil and add garlic.
  6. While stirring, sauté the cauliflower, beans, and mushrooms over high heat for 5 minutes or until tender, but don’t turn the cabbage into porridge!
  7. Fried cauliflower with green beans and mushrooms is ready. Vegetables with mushrooms can be served as a stand-alone dish or with your favorite side dish.

Bon Appetit!
