- 1 tablespoon butter

- Peel the onion and cut in half so that sturdy rings approx. 1 cm high can be cut from the center.
- Then carefully place the four largest rings in the pan with the butter and then place an egg in each ring. Fry the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
