Fried Eggs in Bacon “Nests”

The original fried eggs in an appetizing basket made of aromatic fried bacon on crispy toast is a great start to the day. Such a chic scrambled eggs and bacon are being prepared in the oven. The recipe is quick, the ingredients are few, but this breakfast looks just gorgeous!

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Bacon (raw smoked) – 8 strips
  • White bread – 4 slices
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for lubricating forms

Directions

  1. Prepare foods from the list. You will also need muffin molds.
    Fried eggs in bacon “nests” cook quickly, so turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  2. Cut out circles of bread slices about the same dia as the bottom of the baking tins.
  3. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat and dry the bread slices for 1-2 minutes on each side. Then transfer to a plate.
  4. Fry the bacon strips in the same skillet over low heat for about 2 minutes on each side. Then transfer to a plate and cool slightly.
  5. Lubricate a baking dish with vegetable oil. Line the sides of each mold with strips of bacon (2 strips). Place a slice of toasted bread at the bottom of each compartment.
  6. Break an egg into each cell. Salt.
  7. Send the pan to the oven at 180 degrees and cook the eggs with bacon and toast for about 10-20 minutes, until the eggs are cooked to your liking. I cooked for 12 minutes.
  8. The original fried eggs in bacon nests are ready.
