Ingredients

  • 200 g mini penne
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoon, heaped processed cheese or cream cheese
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 tablespoon, heaped parsley, frozen, smooth, finely chopped
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped oregano
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch turmeric
  • salt and pepper
  • some smoked salt
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the ham into small cubes and fry vigorously in a pan with a little oil.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, drain and set aside briefly in the pasta sieve. Put the now vacant pot aside and add the fried ham and cream. Fry the noodles with a little oil until they are golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, use a whisk to dissolve the salt in the cream. Dissolve the processed or cream cheese in it while stirring. Add the herbs and season to taste. Depending on the type of smoked salt (that of Fuchs is more of a smoke flavor than salt), use a little pure salt. Now stir in the egg yolks. Finally add the mini penne and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is nice and velvety. Serve hot immediately.
