Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s), waxy
  • 100 g pork belly, smoked, in one piece
  • 2 tablespoon clarified butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into small, even cubes. Finely dice the pork belly.
  2. Heat the clarified butter in a large pan and leave the bacon in it. Add the potato cubes and fry on one side for a good 5 minutes over a medium heat, season with salt. Turn the potatoes and as soon as they are brown on all sides, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Fry for a total of about 15 minutes. Finally sprinkle with parsley.

  4. After turning the potatoes for the first time, add a chopped onion and / or finally season with a pressed clove of garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of caraway seeds.
