Fried Salmon in Honey Glaze, with Mushrooms and Onions

A quick and easy recipe for a fish dish – fried salmon in honey glaze. By cooking salmon steak with honey in a skillet, you can serve a complete and nutritious meal to the table. And if you add mushrooms and onions to fried fish, it will be even tastier, which we advise you to do.

Ingredients

  • Salmon steak – 350 g
  • Honey – 2-3 teaspoon
  • Red onion – 1 pc.
  • Mushrooms (champignons) – 150-180 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Before cooking the honey-glazed fried salmon, prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Peel and wash the onion. Wash the mushrooms and put in a sieve to drain all the water. Cut the onion into half rings. Cut the mushrooms into arbitrary pieces.
  3. Melt honey in a frying pan until liquid and heat until it has a characteristic caramel flavor. Season the fish with salt and pepper to taste, put in a pan with honey.
  4. After a minute, add the onion and mushrooms to the fish. Fry salmon with mushrooms and onions for a couple of minutes.
  5. Then turn the salmon over to the other side, stir in the mushrooms and onions. Fry for another minute until the fish is fully cooked.
  6. Put the fried salmon with mushrooms and onions on a plate, pour over the rest of the honey from the pan and serve.
