Instructions

  1. Fry the ham in a hot pan (preferably a coated one) without any additional fat. If the roasting fat has settled in the pan, add the onion cubes and fry briefly. Put the drained sauerkraut in the pan and sear it. So that it doesn`t burn too much, add a little butter or margarine from time to time. When the whole sauerkraut is brown, add the sugar to taste and stir everything again well.
  2. We usually make smoked pork or sausages with boiled potatoes.
  3. Of course, it can also be prepared meatless and / or refined with canned pineapple pieces.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
