Fried Shrimps with Avocado and Papaya Salad

The shrimp can be fried on the electric grill or grill pan. Shrimp served with tropical papaya and avocado salad.

Ingredients

  • Large shrimps (peeled) – 24 pcs.
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Dried chili pepper (flakes) – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil
  • Lime wedges for serving

For the salad:

  • Papaya (diced) – 1 pc.
  • Avocado (diced) – 2 pcs.
  • Lime juice – 3 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, honey and salt. Put the avocado and papaya in this dressing, mix gently, set aside.
  2. Heat the electric grill or grill pan to medium-high temperature.
  3. On each of 8 wooden skewers, string 3 shrimps, brush with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grease the grill rack or grill pan, put the shrimps, fry for about 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve fried prawns with salad and lime wedges.
