I would like to share an unusual snack made from fried soy asparagus. It turns out to be very tasty, original, with a crispy crust and sea taste. It goes well with various sauces.
Servings: 2
Cook: 11 hours
Ingredients
Soy Asparagus – 100 Grams
Nori – 1 Piece (sheet)
Soy sauce – 1-2 tbsp
Seasoning – 2-3 Teaspoons (for fish)
Ground black pepper – 1-2 pinches
Sesame oil – 1
Starch – 2-3 Art. spoons
Directions
Prepare all ingredients.
Soak soy asparagus in cool water overnight.
Rinse the soy asparagus, squeeze out excess water. Cut into slices 7-9 cm long. Transfer to a container, add sesame oil, soy sauce, a pinch of pepper and fish seasoning. Stir well to distribute the spices evenly over the asparagus. Refrigerate for a couple of hours to marinate the appetizer.
Next, cut each asparagus slice into fibers from one side.
Cut the nori sheet into strips. Wrap the other end of the asparagus in it.
Dip the asparagus in the starch.
Fry in hot vegetable oil in a skillet until crisp. About 4-5 minutes on each side.
