Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 2 cups sour cream or creme fraiche
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 100 g ham, (country ham) mildly smoked
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes as jacket potatoes and let them cool.
  2. Peel jacket potatoes and mash with a fork and finely
  3. Mix the chopped onions and the finely chopped garlic cloves.
  4. Now cut the country ham into small pieces, mix well with the sour cream or creme fraiche and the finely chopped chives and season to taste with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  5. Excellent for parties and barbecues, but also suitable as a spread.
