Instructions

  1. Cut the banana into about 4 equal pieces and prick a toothpick into each piece or drill a kebab skewer lengthways into the whole banana. If the banana ice cream is to be for children, it is better to break off the pointed ends of the toothpicks.
  2. Now place the banana skewers or the banana skewers on a plate with cling film and cover them with another piece of film. Let the whole thing freeze for about 3 hours and then enjoy like a popsicle.
  3. The Frozen Banana is wonderfully sweet and creamy and also a very healthy, low-calorie and low-fat alternative to conventional ice cream.
  4. Optionally, the banana can be given a chocolate topping before it is eaten. To do this, you melt the dark couverture in a water bath and briefly dip or sprinkle the frozen banana pieces with it.
  5. The calorie figure is an average and only refers to the banana, without chocolate.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
