Frozen Sorrel Borscht with Egg

I offer a recipe for sorrel borscht. Sorrel contains many vitamins and minerals, it is very useful, and this is a good reason to cook delicious borscht from sorrel.

Ingredients

  • Pork – 200-300 grams
  • Frozen sorrel – 20 grams
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Dill greens – a small bunch
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Bay leaf – 4 pcs.
  • Allspice peas – 5 peas
  • Dried celery root – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Freshly ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Freshly ground allspice – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the meat, place in a saucepan, and cover with water. Add spices, onions, garlic and cook on the stove.
  2. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into cubes, and send to the saucepan.
  3. Send the carrots there, peel, and grate them on a coarse grater. And remove the onion from the pan and discard.
  4. When the vegetables are half-cooked, add the sorrel to the pot. Then dill.
  5. Hard-boiled eggs, peel, and cut into cubes. And also send them to the pan.
  6. Boil everything together for 2 minutes and remove from the stove.
