Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad is the best breakfast recipe for children and adults.
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- Sugar – 1/4 cup
- Orange zest (chopped) – 1 teaspoon
- Orange juice – 1 glass
- Orange (peeled and cut into pieces) – 1 pc.
- Red apple (cut into small pieces) – 1 pc.
- Large pear (cut into small pieces) – 1 pc.
- Seedless green grapes – 1 cup
- Banana (cut into thin slices) – 1 pc.
- Champagne or sparkling grape juice – 1 1/2 cups
- Fresh mint leaves for decoration
Directions
- In a large non-metallic bowl, combine sugar, orange zest, and juice until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Put orange, apple, pear, and grapes in a bowl with the juice. Mix fruits gently. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate the fruit salad for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
- Add banana and champagne (or carbonated grape juice) to the salad before serving. Divide the fruit salad into 8 bowls, about 3/4 cup each fruit and juice.
- Garnish the finished fruit salad with mint leaves.
