Instructions

  1. Wooden skewers are also required.
  2. Cut the watermelon once. Hollow out the lid and the body with a pricking form and put the melon pieces aside. I used a spherical shape.
  3. Separate 3 stalks from the celery, wash and cut to the same length.
  4. Make 3 small slits at the bottom of the melon body with the knife and prick the celery. This is how the melon grill gets its stable feet.
  5. Pierce the wooden skewers through the upper edge of the hull, this creates the so-called grillage. Poke 2 toothpicks into the edge and fasten the lid on the side.
  6. Wash the rest of the fruit, dry it and distribute it together with the melon pieces on skewers. Here you can develop creatively: vary with cheese, pineapple, dates, bananas, etc. Just skewer whatever you like.
