Ingredients

  • 2 onions)
  • 4 large tomato (s), or a small can
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 50 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 100 ml tomato ketchup
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco
  • 150 ml cola
  • 2 teaspoons sugar, brown
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion very finely and sweat it in the oil. Add diced tomatoes or canned tomatoes. Simmer gently for 5 minutes. Squeeze the garlic and add. Now add the other ingredients and simmer gently for half an hour, stirring occasionally until a thick sauce is formed.
  2. Serve warm or cold with meat or fish, ideally from the grill.
  3. Goes particularly well with my fillet skewers with zucchini.
