Garlic Cheese Cake

Cheese cake in a new version! A fragrant, tasty, and a very beautiful cake made from yeast dough, with cheese, garlic, and herbs! I wish I had tried this recipe before, now I will repeat it often! And you join us, cook for health and have fun!

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Flour – 250 g + for working with dough and sprinkling on a baking sheet
  • Dry yeast – 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Butter – 3 tbsp + for greasing the baking sheet
  • Milk (warm) – 125 ml + for greasing the cake
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Egg yolk – for greasing the cake

For filling:

  • Cheese – 150-200 g
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Fresh parsley – to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. In the flour, we make a depression (hole), add warm milk, sugar, and dry yeast there. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes – the yeast is activated.
  2. Then add salt, egg, and softened butter, knead soft dough. At first, the dough will be very sticky, knead, lightly dusting the table with flour. Don’t add a lot of flour or hammer the dough.
  3. Let the dough stand under a film or towel for about 30-40 minutes. During this time, we will easily prepare everything for the filling. I have two types of cheese, I decided to try one new one in this recipe, you take your favorite.
  4. Stretch the dough into a cake directly on a sheet (baking sheet), oiled and sprinkled with flour.
    We make cuts on the cake along and across (using a sharp clerical knife), you should get a mesh.
  5. Cover the cake with foil and let rise in a warm place for about 10 minutes. Add literally a couple of drops of milk to the yolk, mix. Then we grease the sides and cuts the cake well with the yolk.
  6. Add chopped parsley and garlic passed through a press to the softened butter, mix well. If you have unsalted cheese, now you can add some salt to the “shaving brush”. You can leave the butter in a warm place for a while to soften it and apply butter to the dough.
  7. Thoroughly grease the cake with butter with garlic and herbs, not forgetting about the cuts. Cut the cheese into slices. We turn on the oven, let it heat up. We insert pieces of cheese into the cuts of the cake.
  8. We bake a tortilla with cheese in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees. Time – 20-25 minutes, focus on your oven.
  9. It turns out a very fragrant garlic-cheese cake! The dough is tender, airy, spongy. The cheese is delicious, it lasts (by the way, the new cheese did not disappoint either, it is good). The cake amazed and surprised. Delicious and beautiful!
