Ingredients

  • 450 g mushrooms
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chili sauce
  • 1 squirt lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms and cut a small piece off the stem. Halve or quarter large specimens.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a cast iron pan or wok and lightly brown the garlic in about a minute. Add the mushrooms and chilli sauce and fry over high heat with constant stirring / swirling until the mushrooms have soaked up all of the oil. Turn the stove down to the lowest setting until the mushrooms have released their juice. Then turn the stove back up and fry for another 4 - 5 minutes until the juice has evaporated. Then add the lemon juice and stir in the parsley as well as salt and pepper.
  3. Put the mushrooms in a preheated bowl.
  4. Other mushrooms (e.g. chanterelles or porcini mushrooms) can be used instead of the mushrooms.
  5. This goes well with baguette or rice, for example.
