Garlic Toast with Tomatoes and Basil

Diet garlic toast with fresh tomatoes and basil is low in calories, yet has a wonderful flavor and aroma.

Ingredients

  • Homemade bread (sliced) – 8 pcs.
  • Garlic (peeled and cut in half) – 4 cloves
  • Cream tomatoes (peeled and diced) – 8 pcs.
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for serving

Directions

  1. Turn on the grill. Lightly grill the bread slices. Grate each slice with a slice of garlic and place under the grill again, fry for a couple of minutes.
  2. Place the chopped tomatoes on the croutons, sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
