Ingredients

  • 8 tomato (s), fully ripe
  • 3 sprigs thyme
  • 12 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top / bottom heat.
  2. Wash and halve the tomatoes, carefully cut out the stiff stem. Wash the thyme and cut into several pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and leave them whole.
  3. Place the tomatoes in a baking dish with the open side up. Put the thyme and garlic between the tomatoes and drizzle everything well with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place in the oven for about 50 minutes, until the tomatoes are slightly brown on the edge.
  4. After roasting, remove the thyme sprigs and serve.
  5. The tomatoes taste cold and warm.
