  • 150 grams sugar
  • 200 g almond (s), round, not roasted
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), the grated zest it
  • 25 g powdered suar
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar to a creamy mass. Stir in the ground almonds, cinnamon and lemon zest. Beat the egg white until stiff and then carefully fold it into the egg yolk mixture. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (approx. 25 cm) lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 1 hour at approx. 160 ° C on the middle rack. Then let it cool down slowly in the oven with the oven door half open.
  3. Then take the cake out of the mold and dust it with powdered sugar before consumption.
  4. A delicious milk coffee goes well with it.
  5. Note: Traditionally, this cake is baked without flour.
