German Muffin

German muffins are another example of great homemade baked goods. Chocolate cake with nuts will be a pleasant addition to any tea party with a small family circle or with guests.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg – 3 Pieces
  • Butter – 120 Grams
  • Sugar – 150 Grams
  • Hazelnuts – 100 Grams (fried)
  • Cocoa powder – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Milk – 150 Milliliters
  • Flour – 250 Grams
  • Soda – 1 Teaspoon (no slide)
  • Chocolate – 50 Grams

Directions

  1. Prepare the ingredients for making the cake.
  2. Place the fried hazelnuts in a blender bowl.
  3. Grind the hazelnuts into crumbs with small nut pieces.
  4. Place the sifted flour and cocoa in a bowl.
  5. Stir these ingredients together.
  6. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until soft peaks. Then gradually add sugar, without ceasing to beat.
  7. Put the yolks in the whites with sugar.
  8. Gently stir the whites, sugar and yolks. Melt the butter, cool a little and pour in there.
  9. Then pour in the milk and stir again.
  10. In a bowl of flour and cocoa, add soda quenched with vinegar or lemon juice. Then gradually pour in the proteins with sugar, yolks, butter and milk. Knead to a smooth, smooth dough.
  11. Add chopped hazelnuts to the dough.
  12. Stir the hazelnut dough.
  13. Place the dough in a parchment-lined muffin tin.
  14. Bake the cake in the oven preheated to 170-175 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Pierce the cake with a dry wooden stick and if it comes out dry, then the pastry is ready.
  15. Let the cake cool and remove from the mold. Melt the chocolate and pour over the cupcake.
  16. The German cake is ready. Can be served with tea, coffee, milk.
